Deepen your practice on the mat and in your life! In a private session you can expect individualized instruction specifically tailored to your needs.
You will be guided through your session with the benefit of hands-on alignment and a personalized practice.
Private instruction is recommended to all students/all levels. Private classes for special events also available.
Forrest Yoga (All levels)
Forrest Yoga, developed by Ana Forrest, is a dynamic and mindful yoga that builds flexibility, intelligence, and strength
while helping students deepen their relationship with their authentic self. The classes are a series of carefully
constructed postures designed to strip numbness from your core, help you breath and move in ways that release emotional
shielding, and prevent and heal injury.
Forrest Yoga - Basic Moves (Level I)
A slow paced class with detailed alignment instruction and demonstration.
This class is essential for beginners. More advanced students can use Basics to deepen their practice.
Forrest Slow Yoga (All levels)
A gentle, slow- paced Forrest Yoga class designed for beginners, students rehabilitating from past injuries,
students over 50, and experienced students who want a slower paced, less strenuous class. Take your practice
slower! Explore the safe and correct way to do yoga and learn how to modify the yoga poses to suit your individual
needs according to age, strength and flexibility. Receive individualized attention and hands-on assists in a safe
and open learning environment.
HATHA YOGA (All levels)
Students will be compassionately encouraged to build strength, increase their flexibility and improve balance,
often moving beyond previous personal limitations. Postures are presented individually, as well as in Vinyasa flow;
combining endurance and stability with movement and mobility. Partner Yoga is often encouraged in class,
in order to give students the opportunity to teach and work with each other. The postures and the structure
of the class cultivate a meditative and peaceful state, and students will leave feeling calm and refreshed.
'Scaravelli' yoga/bodywork (All levels)
An amazing whole-body approach which is truly transformative and restorative. It increases strength
and flexibility, improves circulation and brings us back in touch with the delight-full language of our
breathing body. It is an exploration of poses ('asana') rather than an imposed fixed practice.
It doesn't matter if you do lots of yoga or none at all, if you're an incredibly active sportsperson or
sofa-dweller. Age is immaterial. If you have a body and are still breathing you will benefit from these
classes and will be able to use what you learn immediately to find deeper enjoyment and ease in your
everyday life and whatever physical pursuits you practice.
BODYWORK Descriptions:
Forrest Yoga, Transformational Bodywork, Holistic Lifestyle Consultant, Craniosacral Work, Scar Tissue Remediation,
Shiatsu-Anma Therapist & Certified Sexological Bodyworker.
Transformational Bodywork
Bring release and realignment to your body by working with 12 powerful access points to open the fascia
that binds emotions into specific muscle groups. This bodywork practice is a shortcut to release tension &
stress stored deep in the body that creates blockage, numbness and pain.
Holistic Lifestyle Consultant
Work intimately with Suzi Zobrist to customize a plan of action for your healing path. This is a Lifestyle
Commitment designed for those ready to take their Healing to the next level. Services include yoga coaching,
bodywork, Craniosacral therapy, nutritional consultation, scar tissue remediation, Sacred Ceremony practices
and somatic sex education.
Craniosacral Work
Craniosacral Work from the Visionary Tradition is a gentle, hands-on healing modality that works with
subtle rhythms and energies in the body to support the healing of illnesses, injuries, and traumas.
It provides a way to calm the mind, establish greater balance in your life, and gain a deeper understanding
of your path in life. The craniosacral system includes the brain, the cerebrospinal fluid, the system of
membranes inside the cranium, all 22 cranial bones, the spine, pelvis and sacrum. By using precise and
gentle contacts, sensitive fingers and present attention, the movement and energetics of the bones are
followed and longstanding patterns of tension and stored trauma are unwound.
Scar Tissue Remediation Bodywork
Specializing in Abdominal and Pelvic Floor for Women's Health.
Scar tissue is an obstacle to healing as it blocks our free movement of joy and pleasure in the body.
Scar tissue shortens the original length of the tissue and can can create imbalances in the pelvis and spine.
Scar tissue may impact other body parts and the organs, creating dysfunction, numbness and pain. Scar tissue
remediation brings more openness and flexibility to a scar area, brings stagnant tissue back to health and
changes the configuration of the scar to resemble the original tissue.
Certified Shiatsu-Anma Massage Therapist
Shiatsu-Anma is a form of acupressure touch therapy where you follow the body's map of meridians and
pressure points to facilitate one's healing process.
Certified Sexological Bodyworker
Sexological Bodywork classes and sessions include a variety of educational modalities such as breathwork, conscious
movement and touch, massage, pelvic release bodywork, scar tissue remediation, and Orgasmic Yoga coaching. Sexological
Bodyworkers are somatic sex educators, assisting individuals, couples and groups to deepen their experience of embodiment.
