Sarah is thrilled to bring Qoya to the Orcas Island community. Qoya is an embodied movement practice for anyone who identifies as a woman. It is a space for women to understand themselves on a deeper level and perhaps break through perceived social and personal barriers through intuitive movement and community connection. Sarah has experienced the profound effects of Qoya in her life and is dedicated in sharing its transformational nature with other women. Originally Sarah is from the UK but has lived the past 7 years in Maine and recently moved to Orcas Island with her partner and two sons. Sarah loves to create magic and have fun. She leads her classes with humor, honesty and personal wisdom.

Sarah is a Qoya Movement Leader, Astrologer, E-RYT500hr yoga + restorative yoga instructor, Mother, Intuitive and Wayshower. She has a Masters Degree in Art, Sculpture and Building Restoration and loves cultivating spiritual connection through ritual, dance and singing in women’s circles. She is an advocate for the Dare to Rest programme for Women, has taken part in Auyvedic Wellbeing study groups and is currently interested in establishing tools to create embodied boundaries for empaths. Sarah is broadening her knowledge in how movement, body awareness and language can create social and environmental change.
