Did the hike on Aug 12th. This Crowsnest’s icon is easily the most photographed peak in its vicinity and the normal route is a mere “moderate scramble” when dry.

Great hike make sure you follow the cairns after the chain. Also expect high wind velocity near the top - a wind breaker is a good edition to your hiking bag. Quick elevation gain right from the start.

The views at the top are definitely worth it, but it is not an easy hike, and it is very exposed and steep near the top (for the last 1.5km or so). no needed for ice breaker to going up but was helpful it coming down. Once you pass the treeline, the trail is marked by cairns and inukshuks - as long as you follow them, you will get up the easiest path!

It is home to three bolted routes and one top rope, however at the time this was written the anchors could not be found on top but a nice sized crack can be utilized to build an anchor from gear.
