To build your self-confidence, we highly recommend starting out with a handful of Privates. Our experienced and warm-hearted staff will teach you the basic postures in a safe learning environment with attention to proper alignment and breathing. We will help you customize and modify the yoga postures to help you work with your pain, tension, injuries and muscle imbalances.
YOGA FOR BEGINNERS
Yoga for Beginners is an appropriate class for those who are starting for the first time, starting over, or recovering from a minor injury or limitation. This class will be a slow-paced journey into the fundamentals of the practice, giving the practitioner a solid foundation upon which to build. The class will be led with clear and compassionate instruction guiding each student confidently into their own perfect pose. Yoga is well known to decrease stress and to increase concentration, this is possible because of how we practice, not what we practice.
A gentle, slow- paced Yoga class designed for beginners, students rehabilitating from past injuries, students over 50, and experienced students who want a slower paced, less strenuous class. Take your practice slower! Explore the safe and correct way to do yoga and learn how to modify the yoga poses to suit your individual needs according to age, strength and flexibility. Receive individualized attention and hands-on assists in a safe and open learning environment.
